We are a dynamic, client focused, solutions driven psychotherapy, coaching and mediation focused practice committed to offering evidence based psychotherapy, mediation and coaching, to empower individuals, families and groups deal with a variety of emotional difficulties stemming from various life transitions and stressors. Our aim is to motivate, guide and empower our clients use a variety of skills to make changes thereby making their lives more satisfying, effective and productive.
Given that our lives today are fast paced and often stressful, we are dealing with many competing demands on a daily basis in which having a work-life balance can be challenging. Competing priorities stemming from our professional careers, family life, financial stressors, difficult life experiences, health problems and parenting to name just a few, can exceed our capacities to deal with them effectively. With feeling overwhelmed and stuck, conditions like anxiety and depression can develop and adversely impact our emotional, physical and mental health. Critically, feeling overwhelmed or feeling unable to find the right balance can also stress important people in our lives and relationships. While you are inherently endowed with the resilience to deal with problems, navigating these challenges efficiently and effectively requires a strong therapeutic partnership with an experienced professional trained in addressing these issues.
But knowing what type of professional is best suited for a particular life situation can itself be a journey and a set of experiments. Knowing when to enter therapy, participate in coaching or talk to a friend can be confusing.
Dr. Priyanka has been partnering with clients for the past 10 years through therapy, coaching, and integrative mind-body and lifestyle related interventions to achieve this balance and maintain and grow their emotional, mental and physical health. Dr. Priyanka is an expert in working with depression, anxiety, trauma and the effects of chronic stress on health.
Dr. Priyanka provides individual and group therapy and coaching services to her clients learn skills rooted in the science of change, psychotherapy and personal growth and implement these tools and strategies to feel greater satisfaction with life, build and sustain meaningful relationships and create balance between mind body and spirit. Dr. Priyanka will partner with you to customize your plan for your health by drawing on several evidence based therapy and coaching modalities including CBT ( Cognitive behavior therapy), mindfulness based stress reduction, psychodynamic therapy and mind-body techniques well known for restoring wellbeing and health.
