Change can be great and then it can also be stressful, frustrating and emotionally painful. We as humans like equilibrium and balance. Change disrupts that state and calls on us to adapt.
At Thrive Wellness and Mediation we recognize the impact of life transitions like the loss of a job, good health, a loved one, a significant relationship or a divorce. These changes or life tran-sitions can take a toll on your emotional, social and physical health. We are here to facilitate the process, unique to your life situation and goals, offering support, guidance and coaching through the emotions and experiences that arise.
It can be almost impossible to see that these transitions also bring new opportunities and necessary shifts. Dr. Priyanka will help you ask questions like, “What does this change/transition mean for me, my health, my relationships, work?” or “What do I need to focus on and prioritize during this time of transition?” and importantly, “What new possibilities can arise and be created through this situation?”
Critically, Dr. Priyanka is committed to working with you to feel more in control, equipped with skills and supported while in transition or facing a stressful life change. You will work with Dr. Priyanka to identify your strengths, values and problem solve various opportunities for healing, growth and transformation. You will also have the opportunity to make meaning of the changes in your life, appreciate life lessons and apply them, either once you have completed a certain number of sessions with Dr. Priyanka, or on an ongoing basis through weekly sessions.
