Therapy can help you gain clarity, improve relationships, build coping skills, strengthen confidence, and create meaningful change. Growth can feel uncomfortable at times — but that discomfort is often part of the healing process.

Fees vary based on service and provider. We’re happy to review rates during your free 15-minute consultation or via email at thrivewm@proton.me.

We accept credit cards and Zelle.

We are an out-of-network practice. We provide detailed invoices (“superbills”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Ask about:

  • Your annual deductible (and how much is met)
  • Out-of-network mental health coverage percentage
  • The “customary rate” for your zip code (07052)
  • Claim submission process

Sessions focus on insight, skill-building, emotional processing, and practical strategies. The pace and structure are tailored to you.

No. Virtual sessions reflect the same expertise and clinical care as in-person sessions.

Coaching is ideal for improving communication, goal-setting, and strengthening relationship dynamics when there are no significant mental health concerns.

No. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If you’re experiencing significant emotional distress or trauma, therapy is recommended. If you’re seeking structure, clarity, and goal achievement, coaching may be a better fit.

Most therapy and coaching sessions are 45–60 minutes. First sessions are typically 60 minutes.

Yes. Phone sessions are available on an as needed basis determined after a discussion with your provider and billed at the standard rate.

Yes. Couples therapy addresses deeper emotional patterns, trauma, anxiety, burnout, and attachment concerns.
