The journey through pregnancy in motherhood is a profound one. It comes with many strong emotions and physical changes. Our approach to helping women dealing with the various challenges that can emerge is collaborative with the various providers, support systems, spouses ( coaching is offered to male partners) to help both transition through the various perinatal phases and beyond into the postpartum phase of motherhood.
Postpartum mood disorders are common and often hidden in plain sight. Women who experience problems in this phase can tend to be isolated, anxious, upset and suffering in silence.
In our work we prioritize a compassionate and holistic approach to support new mothers on their path to recovery. Understanding that the perinatal period can be overwhelming, we create a safe and non-judgmental space for women to express their feelings and challenges. Through evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), guided visualizations and mindfulness-based interventions, we work collaboratively with my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and coping strategies.
Our goal is to empower new mothers to regain their emotional well-being and find joy, clarity and confidence in their journey through motherhood.
