What can I expect to achieve in therapy?
There are many benefits to engaging in therapy! Some of these include gaining a better understanding of oneself, figuring out life goals and prospects, improving personal relationships, developing coping skills, enhancing problem-solving abilities, making positive changes to problem behaviors, and boosting self efficacy and self-esteem.
Engaging in psychotherapy is not always easy. You may find yourself having to discuss very personal information. You could find those conversations difficult and embarrassing, and you might be anxious during and after such conversations. But change is disrupting status quo- the familiar for a new reality. As you learn more about yourself, how to alleviate problems, you might encounter that some things might get worse before they get better. Its all part of the process of change and growth.
What are your fees?
Being that fees are subject to several factors, we will be happy to discuss rates with you during your free phone consultation. You can also email us at moc.liamg%40stneilcmwt.luhsna for specific questions related to fees.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept all forms of payment including Zelle and credit cards at this time.
Do you Take insurance?
We are an out-of-network practice, which means psychotherapy services are not covered through in-network benefits. However, we provide invoices that are needed to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
What do I ask my insurance company to determine coverage?
1. What is my annual deductible? How much have I met of it at this time?
2. Is there a specific deductible for mental health/behavioral health?
3. What is the percentage covered by my plan for mental health services by an out of network provider?
Provide my zip code ( 07039). They should provide you the "customary rate" and you want to tell them that this is to help figure out the cost that you might incur. Once you get that information, you'll have an estimate of your out of pocket costs.
4. What paperwork is needed? My provider will give me an invoice with information to file a claim.
The CPT Code ( if they ask; some insurances do) is 90791 ( 1st session) and ( 90846/9847/90834 for subsequent sessions)
5. How do I file a claim with my plan?
How long do sessions last?

What can I expect in my 15 minute consultation call?
The 15-minute consult call is your chance to ask questions, discuss your concerns, learn about our process, and discuss the finances related to care. It also helps you and your provider (therapist or coach) determine next steps if working together feels right.
What can I expect at my first session?
Your first therapy session will be for 60 minutes. We will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to seek therapy. It’s a time for you to share your story in a safe, non-judgmental space. We’ll begin by discussing the main issues or challenges you’ve been facing, your current coping strategies and past experiences with therapy or other treatments. Understanding what’s worked or hasn’t worked for you in the past can help us tailor the therapy approach to best suit your needs. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, ongoing stressors, and goals for therapy—what you hope to achieve or change through this process.
This session is also about building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss practical aspects such as confidentiality, session fees, scheduling, and our cancellation/rescheduling policy. We’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan, outlining the approach and methods we might use, and what our work together could look like. By the end of the first session, you should have a clearer sense of the therapy process, what to expect in future sessions, and a roadmap for moving forward.

What happens in a typical therapy or coaching session?
Sometimes, it is a good idea to share your work in therapy with a medical provider, who is part of your “health team.” Dr. Priyanka will go over these aspects in detail during your initial session, and if you provide written permission, treatment related information can be shared for better and integrated care.
Do you Offer Telephone Sessions?
Yes. We offer phone and video sessions for psychotherapy and coaching, if you are unable to attend your regularly scheduled sessions. Please note you will be charged your usual rate for your telephone session.
How much does online therapy cost as compared to in-person sessions?
The expertise, time and resource commitment that you will get during your online therapy session is just like what you would receive if you were seeing our providers in person. Hence the cost of a therapy or coaching session is at par with the cost of an in-person session.
